Application Instructions

Wall Talk is cut from high quality vinyl to your specifications. It is easily installed and is also removable, so any one can enjoy it. Wall Talk can be used on walls, plaques, glass, wood...almost any surface.

Application instructions: Always allow fresh paint three weeks to cure before applying vinyl lettering.

When your quote arrives, it will be on its original backing paper with a sticky transfer paper over the top.

1) Begin by rubbing over the entire quote with the edge of a credit card. The object is to transfer the quote from its backing onto the sticky transfer paper (hint: at this point you might want to trim along the very bottom edge of your quote as best you can. This way you'll be able to line it up during step 3).

2) Now, take a pencil and a level, and draw a line on your wall (don't panic, we'll tell you how to remove the line!)

3) Peel the backing paper away from your quote, leaving it on the transfer paper. Using your pencil line as a guide, place the transfer paper/quote on your wall. Since you have trimmed along the bottom edge of your quote, it should be easy to place it straight across your pencil line. Use caution because once you place your quote, it is STUCK! You cannot reposition it. Also use care not to allow the transfer paper to fold up or stick to itself.

4) Smooth onto the wall, first with your hand. Then rub over the quote with the edge of your credit card, paying particular attention to each letter. Carefully peel away the transfer paper, and your quote will remain on the wall! (Move slowly, in case you need to re-rub certain areas). Some wall textures may require additional diligence in adhering the lettering.

5) Lastly, dampen a "Mr. Clean Magic Erase Sponge" and wipe away your pencil line. That's it! Your wall will look like you have spent much time and money on a professional paint job!

Now you can sit back, relax, and 'listen closely' as your walls talk.

Removal instructions:

Although we have paid special attention to purchasing vinyl that can be removed, caution should be taken to avoid damage to painted walls.

1) Use a hot blow dryer to move along your quote to loosen the adhesive. Slowly remove each letter with a pair of tweezers or your fingernail as you go.

2) If your wall is left with a sticky residue from the adhesive, use a little rubbing alcohol or "Goo-Gone" on a cotton ball to clean your wall.
